Join us as we attend Reshma Saujani’s Book Talk at Sixth & I. Reshma is the founder and CEO of Girls Who Code as well as an attorney who has been named one of Fortune‘s 40 under 40, Forbes’ Most Powerful Women Changing the World, and Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People. She is also the author of the bestseller, Girls Who Code. Reshma will be in conversation with Christina Cauterucci, a staff writer at Slate and host of “Outward” and “The Waves,” both Slate podcasts.
In her new book, Brave, Not Perfect: Fear Less, Fail More, and Live Bolder, Reshma shows us how to break free from the trap of perfection and rewire ourselves for bravery. Inspired by her TED Talk, the book draws on hundreds of interviews with girls and women who are changing the world one brave act at a time. Reshma shares her own journey to accept her imperfections, and an array of insights and practices to use your voice, take a stand, ask for what you want, and make bravery a lifelong habit.
