This discussion will address the direct impact and ripple effects of President Trump’s July 26, 2017 tweet reinstating the military’s ban on service by openly transgender service members. Counsel from the pending challenge brought in federal court in Maryland will discuss the court’s preliminary injunction and next steps for advocates and military leaders.
