Welcome Our New Board Members!

We are excited to welcome this new group of dedicated public-interest lawyers to our board!

Diane Dauplaise

Diane is an Attorney Advisor in the Office on Violence Against Women in the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to joining the DOJ, Diane was an Assistant Attorney General in the Child Support Services Division of the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. Diane began her career Workers Compensation Associate at Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith. She then continued as a Staff Attorney/Family Violence Attorney at the Domestic Violence Crisis Center and a Staff Attorney with the Network for Victim Recovery DC (NVRDC).

Jess Davis-Ricci

Jess is a Staff Attorney at Whitman-Walker Health in Legal Services. In their role, they empower their patients and clients by removing healthcare barriers and ensuring access to health insurance, public benefits and income supports, and accurate identity documentation. They also co-manage their monthly Name Change Clinics for transgender and gender nonconforming people. Prior to joining Whitman-Walker in 2018, they were a Westwood fellow at the Neighborhood Legal Services Program here in DC, where they focused on public benefits issues, consumer protection, and housing law. Jess received their law degree from The George Washington University Law School and their bachelor’s degree from Duke University. During law school, they volunteered as a legal intern at Whitman-Walker for over 1,000 hours and earned the gold National President’s Volunteer Service Award and GW Law’s Pro Bono Recognition Award for their service. They are a member of the District of Columbia Bar.

Krista Selnau

Krista is the Director, Major and Planned Giving for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp where she is following her passion to help seriously ill children and their family members experience a joy-filled community. Prior to joining the Camp, Krista managed fellowship portfolios for Equal Justice Works. Krista started her career as a fellow and then the Medical-Legal Partnership Staff Attorney at Legal Aid of Arkansas and then went on to found and manage the Veterans Medical-Legal Partnership at Pine Tree Legal Assistance with VA Maine Healthcare System.

She volunteers with the National Capital Gift Planning Council and is on the board of Ms. JD.

LieAnn Van-Tull

LieAnn is an associate with Keller & Heckman. She practices food and drug law with an emphasis on food and drug packaging regulation and tobacco and e-vapor regulation. She advises domestic and foreign clients regarding compliance with global food and drug packaging requirements. In addition, LieAnn advises foreign and domestic clients on tobacco and e-vapor regulation by providing state and federal legislative counsel to tobacco and e-vapor suppliers, retailers, distributors, and manufacturers. She also counsels clients on approaches to establishing clearances for tobacco products marketed in the U.S.

Prior to joining Keller and Heckman, LieAnn served as regulatory counsel for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), where she was a member of the lead counsel team on enforcement actions against companies that produce electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS). She also developed policies and programs involving matters affecting the regulation of the tobacco industry. Her experience at FDA allows LieAnn to assist Keller and Heckman partners in sorting through the complex and ever-changing e-vapor and tobacco regulations and explain them clearly and effectively to clients.
