2025: DC Pro Bono Week: KIND Briefing on Defending the Rights of Unaccompanied Children and Conversation on Creative Pro Bono Responses
Kids in Need of Defense’s (KIND’s) Policy team will provide a briefing on the current state of unaccompanied children’s rights and an update on recent legislative and policy changes that place children directly in harm’s way. The briefing will be followed by a discussion on KIND’s strategies for navigating the current landscape and creative pro bono responses to help unaccompanied children through the many challenges they are facing in their immigration proceedings.
