Join us for a summer forum panel discussion about the many ways environmental justice implicates human rights and racial justice. We are excited to hear how legislative advocacy, individual representation, class action and other tools can bring us closer to achieving environmental justice. Nisha Albert will moderate the Environmental Justice Panel. Nisha is a current 3L at University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and is passionate about the change possible at the intersection of science and law. She previously worked as a research assistant in a crop physiology lab studying the genomic mechanisms and evolutionary adaptations of switchgrass. Nisha received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College with a major in Biology and a concentration in Environmental Studies.

Conrad Bolston, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission

Conrad is the Senior Counsel, Environmental Justice and Equity at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Prior to joining FERC, Conrad was Counsel at Vinson and Elkins, LLP, where he assisted clients in developing and addressing investor reporting, environmental compliance programs, enforcement, permitting strategies and risk management audits involving environmental and energy justice considerations. Prior to his time at Vinson and Elkins, Conrad served as an Associate Counsel at both Morgan, Lewis and Bockius, LLP, and Bingham McCutchen, LLP. He holds a bachelor of science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland, and a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Stacey Halliday, Arnold & Porter

Stacey is a Partner at Arnold & Porter representing electronics and textile industry clients in product regulatory compliance and global supply chain issues, including electronic-right-to-repair and product-labeling requirements. She also advises on energy transition and climate change matters, contaminated sites, as well as highly technical sustainability disclosures. Before joining Arnold & Porter, Stacey was a principal at a Chambers-ranked law firm, where she led the Environmental Justice practice

Aditi Prabhu, Constellation

Aditi is Assistant General Counsel for Environmental Policy at Constellation, America’s largest producer of carbon-free energy. She counsels on climate strategy and regulatory advocacy to advance policy priorities including decarbonizing the grid, reducing air pollution, and accelerating clean technologies. She also advises on corporate sustainability and ESG reporting. She was previously an attorney with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for over a decade, serving in numerous roles including as Assistant General Counsel for Regulatory Issues and as Special Assistant to the General Counsel. Aditi received an A.B. in Biology, summa cum laude, from Harvard College and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
