Challenging times bring opportunities – to support our community and fight for what we know is right. Now more than ever, we are equipped and ready to empower advocates and inspire change!

We are not backing down and we will stand with our advocacy community, our neighbors, and those who seek to lift up rather than hold down. However, we must also be responsive to the very real threats our community faces, particularly those of our members who serve in the federal government. So, you may see some changes on our website and in the way we discuss our work. What won’t change is our commitment to engaging the diversity in our community, ensuring equitable access to justice, and striving to include all perspectives in our advocacy, training, and community-building.

We will continue to be the voice of public interest in our community and do everything we can to support advocates in the trenches. We are creating responsive programming while continuing to deliver timely trainings and our core events. You will see members-only sessions that dive deeper into our shared obstacles and provide solutions and events to help us all refill our cups and recharge our batteries. We are in a marathon, not a sprint, and we are here for the long haul.

Together, with commitment, compassion and a little creativity, we will prevail. And more importantly, we will continue to find ways to ensure our legal system treats everyone fairly regardless of money, position, or power. Our organization was founded on the principle that good people standing up for social justice can make a positive difference in our community.
