Crimmigration Training: Immigration Consequences of Common Convictions
Wednesday, September 17th, 12.00 – 1.00 P.M. EST.
It is crucial for non-citizens facing criminal charges to have an attorney who understands both criminal and immigration law. A seemingly minor plea deal or conviction could have devastating and irreversible consequences, such as being separated from family and permanently barred from re-entering the country. The training will cover the categorical approach, Particularly Serious Crimes, and Post-Conviction Relief. It will be hosted by expert immigration attorney Ana Gracia (Immigration Attorney, Jezic & Moyse).
